Alani Comes Out with Brand New Flavor “Strawberry Sunrise”
Recently, the accredited energy drink company “Alani Nu” came out with a brand new drink flavor, called “Strawberry Sunrise”.
As a self- acclaimed connoisseur of everything having to do with energy drinks, I knew I had to give it a thorough, exhaustive review.
Something that I think many people appreciate about Alani is its packaging. Definitely marketed towards a more female audience, the drinks visual appeal is definitely more feminine with drawings depicting the contents of the drinks flavors. This flavor is no different, with doodles of strawberries, clouds, flowers, and the sunset in the background. This is definitely good packaging, though I wouldn’t say it’s Alani’s best, falling behind Pink Slush, Kiwi Guava, and Juicy Peach. For this reason, it gets a 7/10 on the visual metric.
Obviously the most important part of a drink is its flavor, and this one didn’t fall short. “Strawberry Sunrise” has a sweet, citrusy flavor, and is definitely one of Alani’s best. Though delicious, I don’t get very much strawberry, and the flavor is more citrus- oriented. Even so, this flavor is Alani’s third best, falling behind Pink Slush and Hawaiian Shaved Ice. For this reason, it gets an 8.5/10 on the flavor metric.
Lastly, the effectiveness of the drink varies little to its other counterparts. All full-size can Alani drinks have 200 mg of caffeine, so there is no difference in that aspect to any of the others. However, for me personally, Alani’s are sometimes hard to finish, therefore impacting their effectiveness from my lack of consumption due to getting tired of the drink. I would say that usually I finish 5/8ths of an Alani drink, but for this specific flavor I finish 7/8ths, therefore making it a slightly more effective and tolerable daily caffeine vessel. For this reason, on the effectiveness metric “Strawberry Sunrise” receives a 9/10.
“I really like it, I wouldn’t say it tastes like strawberries but it’s still super good and one of my new favorites,” says senior Lily Chort.
“I haven’t tried it yet because it’s sold out everywhere, but it seems really good and I’m excited to try it,” says sophomore Whitney Osbourne.
In conclusion and taking into account the various metrics I have for rating energy drinks, Alani’s new flavor “Strawberry Sunrise” receives an 8.2 out of 10; awesome flavor, solid visual aspect, and great effectiveness.
