As the month of March quickly approaches, the MLB season is getting ready for opening day.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs are set to open the season in Tokyo on March 18th at 6:00 am Eastern Standard Time. The series will be played through the 19th.

While the Dodgers and Cubs will take the mound in the third week of March, the rest of the League won’t kick off their seasons until March 27th and 28th.

26 games will be played on March 27th. There will also be one game held on the 28th. The schedule is set as follows:

When asked about the MLB season approaching, Lower Dauphin junior Emily Miller says, “I have gone to baseball games ever since I was little. I can’t wait to be back in Philly this summer.”

Lower Dauphin junior Grace Lindsay added to the conversation, saying, “The MLB season starting is almost like the official early start of summer.”
