Following the drop of his latest album “GNX”, Kendrick Lamar and SZA will co-headline a national tour titled “The Grand National Tour”, starting on April 19th 2024 in Minneapolis.
The album, which has twelve songs, talks about everything from social justice, pressures of fame, redemption, to former feuds.
While the two artists have a couple of collaborations songs such as “Doves in The Wind”, “All the Stars”, and from Lamar’s new album, “Gloria” and “Luther”, many fans wonder what kind of performance will be featured, and whether it will be mostly Kendrick performing his songs and SZA coming in for the collaborations, or whether it will be half Kendrick and half SZA.
Additionally, many fans, especially local fans, are shocked about the fact that one of his dates includes a Hershey show, set to be performed in the Hersheypark Arena.
“I have no clue why they decided to come to Hershey instead of just sticking to the major cities, but I am glad that they decided to play here,” says sophomore Whitney Osborne.
“Hopefully this will encourage other artists to come here as well, and Hersheypark Arena will get some bigger artists performing” says senior Aryam Agili-Shaban.
Overall, the tour is one of the most anticipated this year, and “GNX” is already wildly popular and will most likely be considered one of the best albums in 2024.
