The Philadelphia 76ers have begun their pre-season training camp ahead of their 2024-2025 campaign.

Jared McCain, a rookie, has been noted to be the team’s “best player” so far in the off-season. McCain has been extremely competitive as well as showing off this strong shooting ability.

Joel Embiid looks to build on his 2022-2023 MVP season as he has lost 25-30 pounds in hopes to make it far through the post season being as healthy as possible.

Tyrese Maxey has shown his ability to be a leader as noted that he is a “natural-born leader” according to the notes taken by the 76ers staff.

Embiid is still building back his game following his season- ending meniscus tear.

Lower Dauphin Junior Makenna Anderson touched on the 76ers upcoming season, saying that she is “most excited to see Jared McCain play”.

Junior Emily Miller also touched on the topic saying that she “hopes they do really well this season”.

The 76ers start their regular season on Oct. 23 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
