With being halfway done with the school year, many students might be burnt out or just feel done with school overall. As a result, most teens tend to go on their phones whenever they just need a break from everything.
When teens do that, it can have an effect of some sort to feel less stress, but sometimes it is not the best way to destress and get relaxed without the use of phones or other types of technology.
Especially since we are all using technology in almost everything we do from in schools or outside of school, it surrounds us. Nevertheless, there are many ways to relax without using any sort of technology. Here are a few ways to relax without screen time:
- Go for a walk and watch the sunset
Immersing yourself in fresh air and being at peace with your surroundings can help you feel more at ease.
- Have a warm bath
This can be soothing and can help you feel more relaxed, along with this, why not grab your favorite book to read.
- Try out yoga
This can make you feel centered with yourself and can help you physically.
- Spend time with your pets
Being with your pets can make you happier and in the moment, so give them some attention.
- Do puzzles
Puzzles are fun and tend to help forget things you are worried about.
- Journaling
Journaling can be helpful to write down how you feel and how your day was.
- Organize your room
Cleaning up your room can be helpful to feel good afterwards and have the feeling of everything going well together.
- Pick up a new hobby
Trying something new can help you unwind and do something new.
- Take a nap
Napping can help you feel more energized afterwards to take on anything.
- Give yourself a sweet treat
Eating something you like can make you feel better and happier.
