The MVP in the NFL is given to the most valuable player in the league, but who will win it this season?
Although the odds and favorites for the MVP change weekly, there are some players that have been proving themselves every week. The current top five favorites for the award are Dak Prescott, Brock Purdy, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, and Tyreek Hill. Many people like to call the MVP a quarterback’s award because only 21 of the awards were not quarterbacks. Even with all of this in mind, Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is not out of the race, even with being an underdog. Hill is having a record breaking season and is on pace to be the fastest receiver to achieve 2,000 receiving yards. Even with Hill having an outstanding season you can not take away from Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Prescott is having the best season of his career thus far and does not show signs of slowing down. Prescott is fourth in passing yards with 3,505 and first in touchdowns with 28 going into week 15 of the season.
Sophomore Kaiden Ketty shared his opinions on the MVP race and thinks that Dak Prescott will win the award. “I think that Dak Prescott will win MVP”.
Sophomore Mikey Messner also shared his thoughts and is stuck between two contenders. “I think it will be Lamar Jackson or Brock Purdy.”
