Thursday, Nov. 9, LDHS recognized a large group of students for displaying the trait of respect as a part of the new and improved PRIDE program.
Respect is one of the five characteristics in the PRIDE acronym, which stands for perseverance, respect, integrity, discipline and excellence.
Mrs. Amy Busher took over the objective and kicked things off in a great way by holding a nice banquet for students to enjoy food and drinks, write thank you letters to the teachers that nominated them, and learn about the mission of the program.
