Spotify’s staff have just announced exciting information about Taylor Swift. Swift is the first female artist in history to gain 100 million streams in only a month.
Swift’s most recent album release, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), topped music charts around the world. Along with this release, Swift earned herself the title of the first female musician to four albums in the US top 10 album chart simultaneously. (She is the third artist in history to achieve this accomplishment.)
Swift is now in second place for the most monthly Spotify listeners. In February 2023, The Weeknd claimed this record by getting more than 110 million monthly listens.
Swift is only gaining in popularity with the progression of her Eras Tour and upcoming release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version), and is likely to continue smashing more records in the future.
