Aaron Moyer, senior center and defensive tackle at Lower Dauphin, recently signed to Lebanon Valley College to continue his athletic and academic career.

Moyer was a two year starter for the Falcons. In Moyer’s senior season he had 12 solo tackles, 21 total and 2 tackles for a loss. On the offensive side Moyer had 23 pancake blocks and only allowed one sack.

In Moyer’s two years of starting he helped them to a combined record of 10-10.

After those two amazing years with the Falcons and winning MVP of Lebanon Valley football camp , head coach of LVC, Joe Buehler, liked what he saw from Moyer and offered him a spot on the team.

Moyer said, “The coaching staff is easy to get along with and I can tell they really love the game of football.”

Moyer picked Lebanon Valley because it was a great fit for him, and they are a team that is on the come up. Aaron is ready and excited to go up there and compete.

Moyer spoke on why he chose Lebanon Valley, “I think the three big things that made me decide on Lebanon Valley is the fact that sports are overlooked there, you can tell they value their sports programs. As well as the beautiful campus. Lastly, the coaching staff and players really made me feel at home on my visits. Very welcoming family and I’m ready to be a part of it.”

On top of being a great player, another key factor of Moyer is that he has great leadership skills and he is a high energy guy.

Wesley Heagy, teammate of Moyer, spoke of Moyer’s leadership, “Aaron always knew how to bring the energy up and push everyone during practices and during the  games, if Aaron wasn’t excited then neither was the team.”
