Lauren Boebert, also known by her derogatory nickname “Boe-Boe the Clown”, has now prayed for the death of the sitting US President, Joe Biden. 

She did this while speaking at the Spiritual and Leadership Training (SALT) conference at Storehouse Church in Dallas. “Jesus, don’t you know we’re out of money? COVID’s hit, they shut everything down, Joe Biden’s president, we don’t know what to do Lord,” said Boebert as the crowd laughed and cheered. “That’s alright, we pray for our presidents—let his days be few and another take his office. That’s why I filed articles of impeachment for Joe Biden. Unfortunately, he does have a really great insurance policy named Kamala Harris.” Boebert claimed to be referencing Psalm 109:8 from the Bible, which states: “Let his days be few, and let another take his office. Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.”

Everybody was alerted to this situation after Patriot Takes, a Twitter account that alerts people to extremism in the government, posted a clip of her saying this. People obviously did not react well to this. Verified accounts, businesses, interest groups and random people on Twitter all began to criticize the failed restaurateur for her “prayer”.

Boebert has asked for the death of a US President, and that cannot be tolerated. She must be removed from Congress immediately. Unfortunately, that will most likely not happen, as religious extremists such as herself are in multiple high ranking government positions. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott are just a few that quickly come to mind. In fact, Pennsylvania came pretty close to having a theocratic leader in Doug Mastriano, who is part of the Seven Mountains Mandate (look it up, it is not good). 

We need to keep religion out of government decisions, and base them on being fair to everybody, rather than just advancing some religious (or political) agenda.
