George Santos, a newly elected Republican representative from New York, and a self proclaimed Wall Street employee, Jewish person, business owner, “Hannah Montana” actor and holocaust survivor descendent, is apparently a clinical liar. Who could have seen that coming? From his escapades as a “Jew-Ish” person (More on that later), and as a cameo actor in “Hannah Montana”, here is every proven lie that George Santos has told.

     1. So first, let’s start off with how Santos was apparently an employee for Goldman Sachs and Citi Group. Both companies claim that they have absolutely no records of him being employed at either establishment, and the Citi Asset Management wing (Where Santos claimed to work) disbanded when he was still in high school.

      2. He also claims that his mother died in the tragedy that was 9/11. Records show that what actually happened was that Santos’ mother died in 2016 of natural causes. After being asked about this, Santos claimed that she was a worker in the towers, and survived the incident, but that debris exposure led to her dying in 2016. Sounds pretty fabricated, honestly.

      3. Time to get to one of the biggest lies: He claimed to have been a Jewish person, and claims that he is descended from a holocaust survivor. Old Facebook posts show that Santos claimed to be a “Conservative Roman Catholic”. When questioned about this, he claimed that he never called himself Jewish. He was calling himself “Jew-Ish”. “I never claimed to be Jewish,” Said Santos in an interview. “I am Catholic. Because I learned my maternal family had a Jewish background I said I was ‘Jew-ish.’”. Real smooth, Santos.

      4. Hannah Montana is a popular show from back in the day. But did you know that George Santos makes a cameo appearance in it? Oh yes, he is a well known actor. You have  got the greats: Patrick Stewart, Kevin Hart, and, of course, George Santos. He also claimed to have been in a movie called “The Invasion” with Uma Thurman, even though a movie with that name does not appear when you look at movies Thurman was in.

These are only a few of the proven lies told by George Santos to the American Public. It is essential that politicians do their business with the utmost transparency, for the sake of the country and its security. George Santos has been appointed to the Homeland Security Committee in the house. Is this bad for the country and its security? We’ll have to wait and see, but I would not trust a person who lied about as many things as George Santos.
