In September 2021, Drake broke Billboard Hot 100 records by filling 9 of the top 10 spots with his songs. Now, Taylor Swift has broken that record by filling all 10 spots with songs from her newest album release, Midnights.

“Anti-Hero” is the top song in the list. “Bejeweled”, another fan favorite, surprised many by falling to the sixth spot. In Billboard Hot 100 history, this is a huge milestone. However, this isn’t the only record Swift has broken with the Midnights album; in fact, it’s only one of 73.

Another one of these records is that Swift became the woman with the most top-10 hits during her entire career. With the popularity of the Midnights tracks, Swift has 40 total top-10 tracks compared to Madonna’s 38, and is behind only Drake (who has 59 top-10 hits).

Ariana Grande is tied with Swift for the woman with the most number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 with five #1 hits. BTS also has five, and Drake is the singer with the most hits with seven #1 hits.

Swift has risen above the competition in terms of album sales as Midnights is already the bestselling album by far. Midnights also has helped her solidify the record she currently holds with the most albums that have had one million (or more) sales in one week. While the runners-up (Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, and Eminem) each only have two, Swift now holds five of these albums, which include Speak NowRed1989Reputation, and, of course, Midnights.

Swift has also broken Spotify records. Midnights became the album to have the most streams over a single-day period. Previously, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy held this record with 153 million streams globally. Now, Swift has taken this title with 184.6 million streams globally. With her newest release, Swift also became the artist with the most streams over a single-day period with 228 million streams.

Swift broke many more records and has gotten fans excited for her Eras Tour which is coming to several locations from March to August 2023.
