With many other girls’ and boys’ basketball teams finishing up their seasons on Saturday, the seeding for the 2022 PIAA Class 5A District Playoffs is finalized. It was then confirmed that the Lower Dauphin Girls’ team would receive the sixth seed in the playoffs and the Lower Dauphin Boys’ team would be the 11th seed.

Both teams will have all of this week to prepare, as the matchups will not take place until Monday the 21st (Boys) and Tuesday the 22nd (Girls).

Lower Dauphin Boys’ Basketball will take on sixth seeded Elizabethtown on the road at 7pm. Elizabethtown display a record of 13-9 and have yet to take on the Falcons (11-11) this season.

West Perry will travel to Lower Dauphin to take on the Lady Falcons at 7pm. Both teams share the same record of 13-9, making this a very tight matchup to look forward to.

Both games will have an admission fee of six dollars.
