Covid- 19 has been effecting us all year round and is still continuing to effect places all of the world, India has had a growing number of cases reaching their all-time high. It is expected that their number of cases is going to exponentially increase as thousands of people had gathered for the Pitcher festival where they find it important to take what they consider a holy bath in the Ganges River. Their cases had reached a high of 168,912 on January 8^th 2021. They are having police in the streets advising people to stay socially distant and while there are some who have been vaccinated and with such a high demand for vaccines right now it is going to take India a long time to recover from this massive uprising. They had known that there was no stopping these people from performing a traditional celebration of their religion.
