Something that many people deal with in life is stress. Whether it’s because of school, work, or anything else, many things in our lives stress us out. But what matters is how you deal with the stress you are under. There are many different things that help to calm yourself down when under stress, but different things work for different people. One thing that is very common for people to do is exercise. Exercising for at least 30 minutes a day is so healthy for your body as well as your mind. Some people go on runs to clear their minds and get some fresh air. Even just going on a walk with your dog ca make you feel so much better. Another thing people do is talking or spending time with other people. When you can talk and tell someone else about how you’re feeling, it often times helps you to clear your mind and get someone else’s perspective. Getting enough sleep is also very helpful. Sometimes when you aren’t getting enough sleep your mind can be greatly affected and things may seem worse in your head then they really are. Something people also do that can be beneficial is to journal and write down your thoughts. Doing this is an easy way to write down how you’re feeling and evaluate why this may be stressing you out.
